Beulah Machinery Pty Ltd 9930 Sydney Road, Cowra NSW 2794 Ph: (02) 6341 3270 • Fax: (02) 6341 3280 www.beulahmachinery.com.au Quality is remembered long after price is forgotten SWINGAWAY AUGER MAINTENCE TIPS  Inspect Tension Cables are adjusted (Auger not “Drooping”) And Auger is straight.  Grease all Grease Nipples (frame, “uni’s”)  Check condition and level of Gearbox Oil.  Inspect condition of Bearings, Sprockets and Drive Chain Bearings should have no “Lateral” movement Sprockets should be aligned and free from damage Chain should be correctly tensioned (about ¼” movement on longest side) Chain should be slightly lubricated  Inspect all “Grub Sc rews” on “Uni’s” and Sprockets are tight.  Inspect and Grease “Pre - Load” Bearing (discharge end of Auger)  Inspect condition of PTO Shaft Check condition of “Universal Joints”, ensuring they move freely. Grease all Nipples  Run Auger for 2 mins at half speed to ensure smooth operation. (Note - Do not run Auger at full speed empty, as damage may occur).
